End of Term 1 and Beginning of Term 2

The end of term 1 was so busy I never had the chance to post a blog! Our last week was super fun. We played games, did sports, and ended the term off with a fantastic disco.

At the end of term we handed out the first of our termly newsletters as well as a feedback form. If you did not receive one of these then please ask us for one at Club or give us an email at kidsize@hotmail.com for a copy. We have been receiving some fantastic feedback and are so glad that the boys and girls are having a great time so far.

We started off Term 2 with the first of our breakfasts clubs. They are coming along great, at breakfast club we have been providing a choice of cerals and toast, if there is anything else you would like to see at our breakfasts please contact us. We spent the first week settling in and choosing free choice activities, we are excited to start on some of our healthy living activities over the next few weeks.

In week one of term 2 we made slime, learned ball skills in sports and had a Halloween Party with some fabulous face paints! We have also been introducing some relaxation and the end of our evenings, this allows the children time to think and settle before going home.

We have also had many new starts this term. It has been great seeing the children welcome them in with open arms. We hope they are having a great time so far at Kidsize.
