Term 1, week 1 & 2

We hope everyone had fantastic and fun filled summer holidays. We are so excited to have all of our Kidsizers back with us to start the new school year. Week 1 was a nice easy start back to school but we still managed to pack in plenty of fun into the short week. Our Kidsizers made some awesome dens with our giant mats, it was a great team effort. Our Kidsizers also made some yummy marshmallow top hat treats that they got to take home.

Over the summer holidays we bought an awesome teepee tent for our Kidsizers who have had great fun using it in their imaginative games. We've not just had fun inside, we've also been making the most of the remaining summer weather. Week 2 provided us with lots of opportunities to get outdoors and explore nature. Our Kidsizers loved hunting for bugs with our bug hunting equipment, examining and understanding them more using magnifying glasses. This fit right in with our new topic of the term 'Our Outdoor World.' As a part of this topic we have bought our very own caterpillars which our Kidsizers are VERY excited to watch develop into butterflies. We can't wait for the rest of this term!
